With your Learner’s License, you may:

"Only drive during daylight hours during the first three months and until 10 p.m. thereafter, always with a licensed driver who is at least 21 years old and occupies the front passenger seat."

  1. Actually, if your mom is paying for the car, she is correct.  She wants to make sure you get in before the twilight hours - when it is mostly light but hard to see other cars that don't have the sense to use their lights...

  2. If the sun is below the horizon, then it's not a daylight hour.

  3. It will be best just to contact your local department of motor vehicles and ask them, and good luck and drive safe.

  4. the hours between sundown and sun up

  5. Well if you want to get technical you will need to call the weather service and they post the actual  time each day. However if Mom is paying for the car and you want driving privileges I believe I would be listening to Mom.

  6. DOT(dept of transportation) tells us hauling oversize loads that, "Daylight hours shall be one half hour AFTER sunrise and one half hour BEFORE sunset"
