Question:

What are daycare facility requirements in Florida?

I am a 26 year old student in college and mother of two. I am interested in opening a daycare center in my area or in a nearby city where it is needed the most. I would like to manage the daycare but not actually be there to care for the children. I would like to hire caregivers for that. What do I need to do as far as courses, education, license, certifications, etc.? Thanks for all answers!

  1. You need to go to your local dcfs (department of child and family services) to find the requirements.  Here's the website - http://www.dcf.state.fl.us/childcare/lic...

    Good Luck!!!
