What are details of a keeper league?

How many keepers should I make? How many years should the league go for? When should I have keepers set in by? Give me any other details or facts about fantasy football keeper leagues.

Typically keeper leagues only keep a few players on the roster and everyone else goes back in the pool for draft day. I would limit keepers to three years before going back in the pool, but you can do more or even no limit. The best keeper league I have been in has had two keepers and everyone else goes back to free agency.

I would run the league indefinitely as long as you have enough people for it. The important thing is to make sure everyone knows the rules and that they are set up front. If you change things during the season or even after the season people will get upset.
