I am currently using Mcafee SecurityCenter. The protection will expire soon and I am hesitating which of the above to get. Can anyone tell me what features are different between them and which product would be better?

  1. The McAfee Security Center is something just to bond all the McAfee security programs together.  All McAfee security products will come with a Security Center.  For example, you purchase VirusScan and Firewall, they will be acessible through the Security Center.

Internet Security Suite is just a large combination of McAfee products together.  All the products are accessible through the Security Center.

Personally, I don't like McAfee...It missed a lot of viruses I had and made my computer slow.  Avast! took care of them for me...

  2. I thought the Centre was just the control interface for the Suite?

When my trial runs out I'm going to uninstall it and replace it with AVG antivirus, Kaspersky firewall, and Lavasoft Adware 2007.

  3. McAfee Internet Security Suite is the latest product and if your choose Mcafee its the one you should get.

Save yourself some money a get better protection install Avast Anti-Virus and Comodo Pro Firewall for free.

  4. I will be going back to Panda when Mc Afee expires.
