What are different names for a pacifier?

i have only heard of a few and was wondering about others..... please let me know the different names besides......... pacifier, binky, nuk, fung, koonga, pumper, tut tut, and bink..thank you!

  2. I was watching one of those Nanny shows today and the mom was calling it a "dodie". Never heard that before. I've always just called it a paci.

  4. I think you have them all pretty much down pat. Id throw it away though. They end up becoming a hassle in the long run.

  5. i call it a binky or bink but i gotta give you a piece of advice. get rid of it by 12 months. or you will fight with the issue for a loooooong time

  7. I've heard of some of those but in spanish i've heard it being called a chupon, which means sucker.

  10. Here are two names you probably haven't heard of yet. We call it a "sussy", but the nurse at the hospital (my son recently had minor outpatient surgery) said she called it a "bo-bo" and now my son who's just beginning to talk calls it "bo-bo".

  13. my daughter called it dee dee when she was a baby i loved it but eventually she learned that its called a binky from the kids at her day care and went mainstream :)

  14. we started out calling it just BINKY then my daughter was trying to say it and it sounded like she said BUDA and my 3 year old son said BUDA BUDA BINKY so now we call it BUDA BUDA.

  16. I always called it a pacifier.  I have heard it called a plug.  My son always called it his "A - NA".  Not sure why.  He would wander around the house calling for it like it was going to answer him!

  17. Every time my daughter dropped hers we would say "uh-oh".  She thought that is what it was and when she wanted her pacifier she would ask for her Uh-OH!!!!
