  1. Foods mostly contains Fiber/Cellulose, in which following compunds are embeded:

    Fat/oil/lipids

    Protein

    Carbohydrates

    Iron

Vitamins (Different vitamins in different foods)

    Minerals

etc. Different foods has different composition depending upon fertility of soil. The soil with good nutrients produce the food with good nutrient. Same like helthy animal produce healthy meat.

  2. Alot of element's , water is not element it's actually called a compund.

A element is A substance composed of atoms having an identical number of protons in each nucleus. since water is H2O , two different element  2 atoms of hydrogen and 1 atom of oxygen is called a Compound

Compound A combination of two or more elements or parts. And every thing is made of atoms.

It goes from small to big. Atoms--> Element--->Compound. and no they cannot be destroyed but you can break them up.

  3. If by elements you mean chemical elements like those in the periodic table, then the food your are eating is essentially composed of billions and billions of atoms.

Food is organic material, usually composed of complex cell structures. These cells themselves are made of proteins and other organic molecules. These molecules are made of atoms. The most common atoms found in organic structures are oxygen, carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus.

Just because you eat the food and therefore the atoms does not mean that the atoms are destroyed. In reality no chemical process inside or outside the body can destroy elements. It is the fundamental law of nature of the conservation of mass. What actually happens is that the food you eat undergoes a chemical change in your body whereby atoms get rearanged. Atoms cannot be destroyed by chemical means.

  4. there are many, many elements in food. most commonly carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. these three will make up the rigid structure, sugars and water. Other common elements in food would be nitrogen (needed for chloroplasts in green vegetables), and Potassium (needed for fruit development. others would exist in trace amounts such as boron (helps with development of red pigments in fruits, like apples and tomatoes), molybdenum, phosphorous, sulfur, Iron, and many others. if you look at a bag of complete fertilizer like NPK Blue of Nitrophoska perfect this will show you many other elements that are need by plants to grow thus being in them when we consume them.

Oh and the only way to destroy atoms is in a neuclear reaction where they are turned into other atoms of a different element.

  5. do you know what an element is? is the better question. and yes there are elements in everything. EVERYTHING is made up of elements
