  4. Since you didn't state living or dead - Josef Stalin (bad Communist leader) had severe 'flatulence' ("gas"/"f*rting). In meetings or at meals when he felt a f*rt coming he'd get up and go over to the row of glass decanters with whiskey, vodka, etc, in them and move them round or rattle them against one another to cover the noise. Nobody was allowed to make any reference, of course, and where the smell came from  - or even that there was a smell!! - was ignored. (Who wanted to vanish to a Siberian work-camp over a f*rt, after all?)
