I am going to move into an apartment for college and will have one roommate. I'm from out of town and will be driving to the college and want to buy some kitchenware before I go out there.

I'm not very Martha Stewart/homebody savvy...so I need advice on what I should have in my kitchen to get by. Nothing fancy or crazy - just the essentials.

If you have any suggestions as where to buy them from, good prices for good merchandise, I'd love to hear that too.

  1. trust me im not either- the basics : saptula, big spoon, strainer (for all the ramen and pasta that you will probably be eating )  tupperware, pot, pan,

you most likely wont be cooking big meals so you dont need anything expensive. you can not go wrong with  Walmart or Target.

dont forget the forks, spoons, and cups.

  2. Stick to the basics. Getting the items as you need them often works great as well so a person doesn't get carried away.

Having your own mine-fridge works well.

As for other items - 2nd hand items often are better quality for lower dollars than trying to buy cheap new store items.

    Wishing you the best!
