What are eunuchs and how are they formed?

  2. Eunuchs are castrated males. The word castrated implies that the process of cutting off male's testicles makes an eunuch of a male.

  4. Eunuchs are men who were castrated (had their testicles cut off). Many men did this back in the days of Shakespeare because if they were cut off at an early age, they would appear more feminine, and their voice wouldn't change, so that they could play female roles.
