  1. This absolutely increased my vertical in basketball.

100 toe lifts on a 2x4 (or stair, or whatever) per day- put toes on the board then up on your tip-toes then down.

Find something a foot tall (metal milk crate is what I used) and jump, flat footed from the floor onto the crate then back down 50 times per day.

I GUARANTEE it will do amazing things if you do it every day for a month!

  2. Wall sits work good. And I'm not sure what these are called, but you stand with your toes on a stair, or any raised platform, and lift your heels up and down. This really helps your calves

  3. Start a squat program to build a strength base in your legs. This will help you jump higher if you do the reps fast to train explosiveness. Read this http://jumphighest.blogpsot.com The strength you get from squats will allow all the jumping and drills you do for volleyball to be extra effective.

Also, practice your approaches and jumping after you do your squats. This helps transfer the strength to the desired motion. Especially if you're a girl, because girls do not naturally have the correct coordination for jumping. I'm not sexist; it's true.

  4. okay there called cherrie pickers its almost like a skip but you add power to jump higher and its easier to aim for something or just imagine that your trying to pick cherries off of a tree

good luck and at some schools that is part of your practice, so work hard

  5. 1. Skipping rope

    2. Long jumps

    3. Lunges

  6. Jumping?

Perhaps watch volleyball videos on the internet and see how they do it, then try to copy the motions.

Set yourself a target, perhaps a marker on a wall that you can build up to. And don't rush, take your time!
