  1. nothing special.

they make you read alphabets which goes to small from big, and they try different glasses on you while you're at it.

then you put your chin in front of a machine, and press this button every time you see some green dots inside it.

hmmmm, i think that's pretty much it. they might even make you take more tests, but these are the basic. it's kinda fun though, lol

    Good Luck

  2. nothing to fear, the only part i dislike is the puff test, the blow air onto your eye with a machine, the only part i dont like about it is you don't know when its going to happen. Other than that normal tests, like testing different lenses to see which one you need.

  3. nothing really. all you do is look at a little picture in a machine and they take a pic. of your eyes to see what your prescription is. and then a machine blows a puff of air in your eyes to check for glaucoma. then you just read the letters on a chart.

  4. It's a pretty basic thing.

You just sit on this chair which can move you up and down and the Optometrist would let you try on a range on lenses by putting them to your face. You will then need to read the letters through them.

I think if it's your first time, they will  make you read the letters without anything - and they will set lenses which will suit you accordingly.

Also, they would get you to look into this machine by putting your chin on the surface - you will then see something like a meadow with a house which the optometrist focuses until it's clear and they click. I'm pretty sure this is to see how your eyes are focusing.

    Good luck! :)

  5. eye exams are pretty basic. they generally first look at your eyes and make sure they are healthy. then you sit and they puff air in your eyes by a machine to help you see better. then you look at a chart and have you read off letters to test your eye strength. finally, they put this gizmo over your eyes and it simulates glasses, so they can get a prescription for you.

dont sweat it. it might be a little boring but you can always look forward to being able to see better. hope this helps!!
