  4. Hazlenuts. .....but I always associate them with long country walks with my Mum and we'd gather them from wild bushes  before Christmas. They were an extra special treat  for the festive season because we had gathered them rather than bought them at the store.

    We used to have them with sloe gin (we'd gathered the sloes in the autumn and put them in the gin) so it was lovely and warming - gosh what memories......

  5. Also known as hazelnuts, you can find them in some chocolate bars, Ferrero Rocher chocolates and they're made into a peanut butter-like spread with chocolate and it's called NUTELLA.
