Any fish will do. all depend of how you cook and personal taste ! try " Ang Go Li " fish or even Head is good . market or Mose Supermarket you find it. ( Mose of  Seng Siong is always  cheap and fresh for fish )

You can use any kind of white fish that has firm flesh. I usually ised tilapia though.

Wah!!! it is a big question as big as South China Sea & or the Asean Water and all the fishes there can be found in S'pore because we import them everyday.

Fish curry does not have dislike of fishes so all can.  The only concern is what type of curry goes with what type of fish.

There is the nogya curry, the indian curry, the indonesian curry, the malay (assam type), the chinese --hainam curry (special in S'pore) and the combine type.   You will have CURRY SICKNESS SOON.
