What are fly's good for?

the only thing that happens when flys come into ur house is just get on your food and bug you

We feed them to our pet frog and venus fly trap.  : )  So I'd say they're food.

Flys help breakdown rotting foods and excrement. They are part of the food chain. They are also food for other organisms.

they are the part of life cycle for pollination in botanical reproduction cycle, at the same time they are the carriers of deices, be careful

In addition to the other answers, they can pollinate some flowers (usually ones that smell like rotting meat!)

Also, once I was able to find a dead mouse because all I had to do was follow the flies!  I could smell it (yuk) but didn't know where it had died until I figured this out.
