  1. It depends if you get the 'real' flying fox or not. The fake ones do nip!

    The other ones ae quite placid and do a good job on the algae! Great fish!


  2. They are fish from southeast asia and eat mostly alga but they are omnivores and will also eat bloodworms. They get up to 5-6 inches as adults and require 25-30 gallon tanks. They are tropical fish and like temperatures in the upper 70's to lower 80's. They are semi-teritorial and will fight for dominance with fish that are not it's own species.
