It depends if you get the 'real' flying fox or not. The fake ones do nip!

The other ones ae quite placid and do a good job on the algae! Great fish!

They are fish from southeast asia and eat mostly alga but they are omnivores and will also eat bloodworms. They get up to 5-6 inches as adults and require 25-30 gallon tanks. They are tropical fish and like temperatures in the upper 70's to lower 80's. They are semi-teritorial and will fight for dominance with fish that are not it's own species.
