What are fun cheap things/stuff to do when i baby sit?

my mom is going to baby sit other kids she doest know and she doest know what to do?

theres lots to do inside and outside the home, museums are good for older more inquisitive children and normally free, parks beaches inside the house or in the garden silly games like musical statues kids always love that story reading time and afterwards they have got to tell u what they liked best about the story, finger painting etc all a hit with kids!

get pennies or clothes pins or something very small you also need a bucket or bottle.  put them(the kids) one at a time on a chair, them facing backwards on their knees. have them put the pennies to the tip of their nose lean over back of chair and try to make the object into the jar below.  this is fun for adults too.  doing it with a mason jar makes it trickier

You can also look up Girl Scout or Brownie activities on the web and get a ton of ideas for games, arts, activities, etc.

if they are girls get them coloring books markers crayons etc. anything crafty. And for boys get action figures or something that has to do with super heros. Boys also love bugs. I hope they are little i never really thought about that!!!!! (:

Research Teacher crafts for that age group... (yarn, popscicle sticks, clay, beads, noodles... glue, scissors, glitter, pipe cleaners...)

What are their ages? Certain things appeal to different ages. If they are toddlers and it is summer, water is probably the MOST fun, cups, bowls, funnels and a big bucket of water. Kids like to be hands on...finger painting, playdoh (hours of fun!) or make your own if they are older and have them make stuff with it. Bake cupcakes and let them color canned frosting and frost their own, a few sprinkles or chocolate chips and they can decorate them too, bonus points for snack time all taken care of! Crafts and involvement. Board games for older kids, ones they can "act out" or do things with. Most of all, kids love attention, the more you pay attention and interact with them, the more fun it is.
