What are fun date ideas for a married couple in Orange County, CA? (Besides Knotts and Disneyland?

I'm looking for specific restaurants, hiking trails, shops, hidden beaches, festivals, etc.

In Orange, go to the shopping center called The Block. It has a Dave & Buster's to play games, eat, plus lots of stores to shop & a movie theatre, skate park, tons of great restaurants. Or in Irvine, go to The Spectrum, but it's basically the same as The Block. In Orange is Irvine Park, it has a lake, horseback riding, a mini zoo. Go to Newport or Huntington beach & walk the pier, hang at the beach & shop & lunch. Have fun!!~~

How about a duffy cruise around Newport Harbor.

Make up a picnic basket fully of appetizers, wine etc.  Reserve a Duffy.  Putter around checking out the sights, eating munchies and enjoying each others' company......

There are plenty of places to go.

Go down to the tidepools at Dana Point for the day and walk around and play with the anemones.

For a nightime deal go to the Spaghetti Bender on PCH just as you get into Newport coming from HB. Afterwards walk across the street to the beach-it is very secluded and a wonderful spot-"If you know what I mean."

Late summer you can go into Laguna for the arts festival.

Rent some bikes or skates at Huntington by the pier and go for a ride. The path can take you into Newport or up towards seal beach.

Create a picnic for the 2 of you. Try to learn how to surf by renting boards-laughter will ensue for both of you.

Just get out and try something different for the fun ones. Romantically anything near the beach-meals, walks, bike rides will work well.

There are so many things that you can do!

You can always go to Midevil Times, or now they have a Pirate Show...both places is show and dinner.

You can also drive down to the beach and go whale watching and have a nice dinner or you can buy tickets and go to Catalina...I have heard that was very romantic.
