  1. Some geographical features of  a coral reef would include things like:

    it's longitude and lattitude extent

    it's area in square kilometres

    its overall shape

it  could include other types of geography too like

human geography( the influence of people)

physical geography, like tide influences etc

  2. I suppose you mean terms such as fringing reef (immediatly adjacent to land, no lagoon), barrier reef (a lagoon separates reef from land), lagoon (water protected from larger body by reef), atoll (circular reef surrounding a lagoon, e.g. on an extinct volcano), cays, patch reefs, the reef front, reef margin, reef flat, and reef back.
