What are gladed trails mean?

Ive been snowboarding for 5 years and i can ride just about any terrain that I have had thrown at me in maine(where i live), new hampshire, and vermont. all the mountains ive been to have a few trail that they call "gladed" but I dont no what gladed means

It means there are trees on the trail, I believe.

Tree skiing and glade skiing are two different things.  Tree skiing is natural, uncut forest skiing (the kind that you find in-between most cut runs at the major resorts.  Gladed areas are places where the trees have been thinned out by mountain developement.  The trees are not nearly as tight, but thick enough to help hold snow and keep wind damage to the snow to a minimum.  Gladed terrain gives intermediate skiiers the chance to experience skiing in the trees, which is quite the rush.

its a woods trail.....jay peak in vermont is best known for their glades...glades are not as common in the maine resorts(sunday river, sugarloaf)...go to jay peaks website and look at their interactive trail map==it'll get you a good idea of their glades

More acurately, I believe that it actually means "tree lined" trails - typically a narrow trail with trees to each side (a glade is an open space in a forest). This is in contrast to an open trail with snow banks or a drop off on either side.
