  1. Not sure if its going to be next year, but the 2 strokes will sadly die very soon.

I reckon they will be 450cc or maybe 480cc max.

Really they need to be half the 800cc to keep the class reg's similar.

I love the strokers but things need to change or it will become to boring ........... like WSB. Dead already.

  2. Lets hope that there won't be any changes! I still think it's fun like this. The 125cc and the 250cc are still unpredictable and if they are increased as you say... well it's gonna be a bit boring!

  3. Hey Daky

I haven't heard anything definate but feel it will be going the way of BSB and WSBK as far as cc is concerned.

Let's face it - you don't see as many 250's on the road as you used to - or 400's for that matter so maybe they want the gp bikes to reflect where a lot of current road riders are (or aspire to be)

Good question - keep us posted if you hear anything definate.

  4. yeah!they are going to be increased to 600cc but not next year..in 2010!

the rules and regulations will be:

four-stroke engine(obviously less than 600cm3)max ,4 cylinders, weight less than 155 kg but the weight for the bikes with 1-2-3 cylinders is not yet defined.

the power loom will be with no limitation.

there will be also some restrictions:

breaks made with carbon will be forbidden as the kind of engine used by suzuki and kawasaki and also by yamaha in the last race.

  5. sorry guys..

my friend norijules would say "more than 155kg" not less..

    (155kg = 342 pounds)

it will be forbidden any pneumatic system for valve springs.

it will be also forbidden the use of carbon made wheels

(please note that rules haven't been approved yet..)
