Question:

What are good, fashionable, small plastic frames WITH nose pads?

I have a high proscription, so plastic is essential. However, because I have bifocals, I also need nose pads to be able to adjust the frames. Thanks for any suggestions!

  1. Do you already have a plastic frame with nose-pads? I've never seen one.

When you buy your glasses your dispenser should fit the frame for you then set the height of the bifocal lens for you. You should then not need to make any further adjustments. Just go to a good optician that does this for you and you do not need a frame with nose pads.

An alternative is a metal frame with chunky plastic sides to give the appearance of a plastic frame.

  2. I am not sure if you are male or female, but a frame with a design similar to one of these may work for you.  The first two are too small for a bi-focal, but could be a good reference for what you are looking for.  The third link will hold a bi-focal.
