  1. pack dinner and watch the sunset

    or watch the stars

  2. hmm...movies are always great,

cheap and you can get some good quality time to spend together.

or how about a picnic? you guys bring your own food, find a nice cool spot in the shade to talk and adore each other? well im only 17, hope i was a help!

  3. Not to get all off in the business or anything, but did they used to go out before they got married and what's up w/ money being tight? Is money that tight ALL THE TIME where they can't go do nothing? Is he stingy or just being cautious of overspending? I don't get it... Yeah sometimes things are tight for me and my husband, but he finds a way to take me out or go do SOMETHING. If anything, I be the one who wants to stay home sometimes. Were things always like that with your friend? And for him to not even want to get away w/ you guys, something's not right. Do you think he'll be willing to go if you were to go half on the trip w/ him? Now as far as something cheap or free to go do as a married couple, there's always bowling, skating, a family fun center, rent some movies and have a little quiet dinner, go to a drive-in, go to the tallest hill and watch the city lights, or depending on where you live: go walk around at the beach at night and listen to the waves hit the shore. Be creative. And if he won't do it, tell the wife to do it. Make him go do something. Maybe she's the one who has to take the initiative.

  4. Theres some things they can do that is either free or cheap They can spend a day at a beach, go on a picnic, go hiking, bike riding, ic skating, camping, go for walks in the forest preserve,go out to a movie, throw a small dinner party with either friends or family (if the family doesnt stress everyone out! Lol), go to a theme park, watch the sunset and then have some fun so they can stay up and watch the sunrise, etc But you definitely dont need a lot of money or any money to enjoy yourself and life

  5. Go on a walk some where beautiful, got to the beach, take a picnic somewhere like a park etc, maybe just stay in and watch a movie together. Try hinting at some of those things to him, or say how much fun it is when you and your husband go out.....just subtle hints and maybe he'll get the message,  if not just tell him outright about how his wife wants to go out and dates don't have to cost money.
