  1. A great website for this age is:

    www.dltk-kids.com

My kids (4 and 6) love playing zoo, we tape pictures on the wall or put stuffed animals all around and go to the zoo.

I also keep masking tape on hand and tape roads, shapes, letters on the floor for them to walk on or drive cars on.

Search online for file folder games, they are easy and fun too.

    Good luck!

  2. Here are some fun activities:

  3. go out and by paints and crayons, etc. ask them to draw picture and or paint pictures of what they want to be when they grow up. you can also try doing math games or just fun teaching games. try having them act out little play scripts. have them recite poems or  have them be inspirtaional and optimistic about what they see in a room.  take them to nickjr.com and let them play games on there. if you have fabrics or construction paper have them make something out of that.

  4. Colouring books, paper dolls, hide and seek and you can read stories too.  You're not thinking hard enough...  Plus you can always ask them...

  5. finger painting

  6. Play-Doh was always a big hit(and still is) in my house.  Get a wallpaper sample book, most design store will give you their old ones, they can cut it up, glue it, the possibilities are endless. If you don't mind cleaning up a mess painting is great. You cold have them make an art museum with their own "art work".

  7. Coloring books, hide and seek, watching movies, build buildings with plastic containers, Help them make something for their parents, like a coupon book with like clean up coupons, Example: a day with full control of the remote, or a hug on a rainy day, or a "Help set the table" coupon. Something that you would want to do if you where their age.

*Also try just cranking up some appropriate songs with a good beat and sing and dance with them!*

  8. Coloring, puzzles, legos, read together, sand/clay/playdough activities, children's cookbooks, memory games (you might have to play with the 3yr old)

  10. Make cereal jewelry with fruit loops - -Cheerios - anything that could be stringed, then eat them latter for snack.

  11. Get the map blank of the united states Teach them every state and where they go on the map. Teach them your real name and there fathers name, make up a song for there address, also words that they should know, and teach the meanings. kids are alot smarter now days.

  12. You can get some blocks that they may play with or let them play with pots & utensils
