What are good amusement parks in San Diego?

Sea World is there but think you are looking for a major theme park.  For that you have to go north to LA.

there are a lot of good amusement parks in San Diego but if you ask me go to disney world in Florida or Cannabie Lake Park in Rhode Island

There are only three parks with roller coasters in San Diego:

Sea World (Journey to Atlantis)

Belmont Park (Big Dipper)

Legoland California (a couple, but not major coasters)

If you are looking for major coasters, the closest ones to San Diego would be at Disneyland and California Adventure (Anaheim), Knott's Berry Farm (Anaheim), Six Flags Magic Mountain (Valencia)

In San Diego, the only roller coasters they have is the Journey to Atlantis ride at Sea World, and the Big Dipper at Belmont Park (near the ocean.)

All the theme parks are more north in Anaheim/LA area, like Disneyland, Knott's, and Six Flags, and then younger kid roller coasters at Legoland
