What are good appetisers for a family get tegether?

on saturday our whole family is having a family get tegether at our house for my brothers b day and my 8th grade graduation. Can anyone give me some ideas for appetisers other than pizzia bread because my mom is ordering a huge sandwitch for dinner.

Make some tortilla rollups. Spread a layer of cream cheese mixed with green onions, a can of green chilies and a dash of garlic powder. Roll up tightly and slice in several small pieces. Dip in salsa. Other things you might put in the roll up : black olives, lunchmeats like turkey or ham, shredded cheddar cheese, diced bell peppers, etc.

OK I know you said no pizza bread but have you ever tried monkey bread? It is not like Texas toast or the typical pizza  bread. It is cut in little fist sized sections. You can find in the refrigerated isle with the bread at Wal-Mart. I hope this helped have a good dinner!
