What are good areas and baits for catfish around colorado springs?

Try Prospect Lake. One guy almost caught a world record size channel cat there and it's only about an hour and half to get there. If you need directions try Google Earth that's where I found it. It's approximately 76.8 miles away from Colorado Springs. I also found out there's good trout fishing there. Good luck and good fishing!

well look for areas with rocks or you could look on the shore line for large holes. i would just ask around your area. hope i helped you out! (best answer?)
