What are good bachelorette ideas?

I need some ideas for a great bachelorette party. She is not very crazy and wants no male strippers or anything like that. I was thinking dinner and then a bar to dance and drink, but I want to do something more or just better. Please...need good, serious ideas. I am in a time crunch!!! Thank you! :)

Have the girls going to the party (excluding the bride) split the bill on a limo. Go out to dinner and go bar hopping. That way you all can drink, have fun, and be safe for the big day :o)

I personally enjoyed staying in with the girls for my bachelorette party. No one had to worry about drinking, driving, etc.

Maybe what you could do is rent a hotel suite. You could have dinner and drinks at the hotel bar - then go back up to the suite and play a few girlie games, make cocktails, etc. There are lots of bachelorette party games out there - most of the ideas are free online.

If you wanted to when you go out you can make her a veil, get her a t-shirt that says "bride to be" or "buy me a shot, I'm tying the knot"

You can give her a list of things that she has to do while she is at the bar, e.g. - get a guy to buy her a shot, have a guy show her his abs, etc.

Do you have a wine bar nearby?  I've heard of some girls doing wine tastings/pairings and having a lot of fun.

What about going to a spa?  Everyone can get pedis or manis and just have "girl time".

Piano bars are also a lot of fun...

Have it at your home and just have food, drinks and talk like most girls do... That way you all have a place to crash when your all done and now one will have to worry about getting home when you all are tired. that sounds good to me any way! Have fun!!!

How about a good old fashioned hotel slumber party? Rent a really posh hotel suite (have the other girls chip in, but not the bride), cram everyone in the jacuzzi tub in their swimsuits with glasses of champagne, get all dressed up and hit the hotel bar, order hot fudge sundaes from room service, do each others hair, play truth or dare. I really hope my bridesmaids do something like this for me.

BTW, i'm with your friend on the male strippers thing. I don;t want some completely hairless,overly muscled, oiled-up man gyrating his junk in my face either. lol
