  1. First off get your ollie down. Just practice leaning onto your tail them hopping from it to your nose. Once you can do that with ease, practice it while moving, and then while going off jumps.

You should also become comfortable going down fakie. So try going down the way your comfortable, then spin and go down opposite.

Once you've mastered those two things, I'd go for two simple tricks. 180 (half spin) and Indy (Grabbing Middle of your board with back hand)

  2. definatly learn how to go fakie right away, and use it often, i waited till i was too too used to going down regular, and now it's still very hard for me to ride fakie, which makes it hard for me to do anything bigger than a 360, i'd love to go for a 540, but i still have too much trouble landing....

  3. 180's and other grabs, keep it brofessional

  4. plain jumps are great at 1st, as well as boxes because theyre easy to stay on.  After you get those down, you can start working on grabs, 180s, 360s, and bigger jumps, and other rails.
