What are good cheerleading colleges? and scholarship help!?

i am a highschool/allstar cheerleader, i am wondering where there are good cheer colleges because i want to look into them even thou i am only going into 9th grade it is important to me. also i want to get a scholarship to college how would i go about that, like i am the first Girl to go to college out of my family, i am african american, i don't know my biological father, i heard there are like grants for that and stuff, please help

Good for you for planning ahead. Making sure you get good grades all through school is far better than panicking and picking up the pace in senior year, like so many kids do.

"American Cheerleader" magazine does a cheer scholarships list every year. If you write to them you may be able to find out which back issue to get or which future issue it is coming out in.

The University of North Carolina has a great cheer program. It's extremely selective though.

Yes, there are many programs, grants and scholarships out there..I suggest that you speak with a school counselor about it, that's is what they are for
