  1. Take your most difficult class first. Get all the help you can,

to get behind you. Do not let any subject, stand in your way.

Do not ever, be afraid to raise your hand, and take your stand.

I did not raise my hand, and I got left behind. <}:-})

  2. It depends on what you want to be. For example, I want to be a computer service technician, and to get into NAIT, I require a high school diploma, English 30-1 or 30-2 and Math 30 Pure or Applied.

It's best to take the classes that you know or think you need, and it's important that you challenge yourself, but not too much where you can't answer a single question in your assignments. I'm a smart person but math isn't my strong point, so I'm taking 30 Applied. It's a good class so far; all you have to do is pay attention, do your work, copy down notes and everything will work out.

I've found that failing a few courses from previous years have left me with 69 credits at the beginning of this year. Therefore, I would need 31 more to graduate. I adjusted my classes so that I have work experience (which helps you with your credits, sometimes a lot, depending on how many hours you work your job or whatever). I still have a free block and if I pass all my courses, I'd get 105 credits for sure. Work experience might get me (on estimate) around 110, 115 or so, so that's good.

So in conclusion, good classes to take are ones you need and work experience is a good one for obtaining credits. If you have a specific college/university in mind and a specific career, it might help to go to the ALIS website to find a career profile and look up your requirements. It also lists the colleges and universities that offer that course.

  3. american history, civil war

  4. Take at least one art class,

    Zoology is usually pretty fun,

    Creative writing

  5. I'm taking the History and Aesthetics of Film (FIL2400).  It's almost like reading class but with movies.  We watch movies and then break them down to get the important facts out of them and symbolism stuff like that.  For me it counts as a humanities credit which is needed for almost any AA.

  6. It really depends on what your into.

ARTY= Art, Graphics, Home Ec THE ARTS= Dance and Drama  there are lots opputunities to take and if you grab something your really interested in you'll be glad you not in some class the all your friends are in that is so boring and you have to do a boring assignment at home
