What are good colleges in new york city and florida?

Question

I love the idea of living in new york city, and I love the warmth of florida. What are some good colleges in nyc and florida (preferably in southern florida).

It can be a community college or a university, im smart and have a middle class family. Im only a junior in high school so I definitely should start looking now.

I do not recommend Johnson and Wales Miami campus-- its so ghetto and they charge an arm and a leg for S****y services. The education isn't bad, but the accommodations, the area its in, the school itself, is all really old and shady.

I recommend:

UCF- orlando

Nova Southeastern- Ft. Laurderdale

FL International Univ.- Miami

St. Leo Univ.- Dade City

New York Univ.(smart smart school)- Greenwich Village NYC

SUNY- varied NY locations.

I recommend you look at collegeboard.com and look for schools in those areas that have the major or classes your interested in taking. Also, if you get a chance, visit your top schools to make the best decision. I had started out h**l-bent against going to the college I ended up visiting and loving! Once you've gotten all the facts, you'll know. And talk to admissions counselors with the different schools, they can also get you in touch with students who already attend so you get a well-rounded perspective of where you would fit in the best.
