  1. Usually you're deeper colors like burgandy, copper, gold, orange, and red are popular. But it's your wedding, do what you want! I'd get on David's Bridal.com  and play with their color matches. Or go to a paint store and look at color patches.

  2. Dark Red, a Chocolate Brown, and a touch of orange to lighten it up!

  3. Burgandy

    Emerald Green

    Deep Purple/Aubergine

    Gold

    Red

    Navy Blue

  4. We are getting married in October and our colors are a deep crimson red and accent colors of chocolate brown and champagne. Lots of glitz and glam with sparkly stuff. But really u can do any color you want! Doesn't matter the season. Its your wedding, do what ever makes you happy!

    Congrats!

  5. Yes...

~ Burgundy (sometimes called "wine" or "garnet.")

    ~ Royal Blue

    ~ Navy Blue

    ~ Red

  6. Try like dark warm reds and ambers...a dark orange would be pretty even some green...try warm colors together.

  7. Red? Lol, you can actually wear any colours - just because it is fall, doesnt limit your choice to those colours. If you want to stick to it though, you could push it a little to reds or corals?

  8. You could also go with metallic colors: gold, bronze, copper. Silver wouldn't work so great for a fall wedding.

Jewel-tones work well, too: ruby, emerald, sapphire, turquoise.

The only colors that don't seem very autumn are pastels.

  9. i think fall is a great time for jewel toned bridesmaid dresses:

    ruby

    sapphire

    emerald

    amethyst

all of those are bright enough colors but still dark enough for fall, and not drabby like other fall colors

  10. obvisously, you can have any color theme you want, any time of the year. but these colors are popular because they are readily available, and they give the theme some continuity.

those colors are good because they are very bright and vibrant. if you are not a big fan of the orange, brown and yellow, try adding a lot of red and gold, which are also fall colors, but look a little better next to people's skin. another color people often forget about for fall is purple. a dark purple is definately an earth tome. as is forrest green.

the beauty of a fall themed wedding is that you have so many colors to choose from, and if it is outdoors at all, you get free color coordinated decorations!

  11. I'm currently planning my wedding and I say go for what ever colors you want you do not have to follow suit. This is your day.  I was just on brides.com check out the forum they have on fall wedding colors.

  12. Call me old fashioned if you like, but I am a firm believer in antique white satin whether the bride is a virgin or not. And antique white pearls. Lots of lace. If you must have color choose light creams and light apricot colors. You want this to be the stuff dreams are made of, not some Fall bazaar. Keep everything is ultra pastels.

  13. burgandy, it's a dark red. Very pretty color and very popular in the fall

  14. what about brown with accents of  a soft yellow or baby blue?

you could also go purple OR blue with accents of yellow/ gold.

fall brings to mind earthy/ nature colours for me

    (rust/ green/ orange/ yellow)

  15. aqua, and cream, or deep maroon red and off white, or medium light green and white, and i know you don't want brown, but nice brown table cloths, with aqua napkins and white plates looks so crisp and clean., then have aqua and white centerpieces, floating candles, flowers or pillar candles, brown covered chairs with aqua sashes tied around them.a great way to look at colors together is go to your local mall to the bedding department and look at the comforters, the colors are amazing, and sometimes you can find some that you've never thought would look good together. good luck!

  16. I am getting married in October, and while I am using leaves to decorate and more earthy colors too (especially in my centerpieces), I am having apricot and sage green as my main colors (my BM dresses will be alternating apricot and sage, and some of my decor will be in these colors as well)

And I agree with who all said that you can use whatever color(s) you want... don't let the time of year dictate what your color scheme is. If you want Pepto Bismol pink, then you use it, lol! :)

    Good luck! :)

  17. Fall colors tend to be more muted, like deep red or burgundy versus bright red; eggplant or navy versus royal purple or blue.

If you don't care for muted colors much, try adding a bright color with a muted one.  For instance, my wedding colors were dark purple (eggplant) and fuchsia.  The fuchsia added a fun element while the eggplant was very elegant.  The contract looked spectacular!

    Good luck!
