lenscrafters is good, no matter where you go make sure there is a warranty. i have worked a a eye dr before and he had a one year warranty on the frames. also they do have lens that are scratch resistant  and frames you can bend. it may cost a little more, but if you want the quality and for them to last you may want to pay a little extra.

Lenscrafters are very expensive.  They carry quality frames, but the workmanship can really vary from store to store.

That is the same with all the chains. The important thing is to get your money.

I think you would be very surprised at what your local, in-store owner Optician can offer.

Not only better prices than lenscrafters, but a more personalized service...because the owner will care more than an employee in a chain store who may not even be there next week.
