Sometimes I tune in one of those ethnic (multi culture) channels and watch Japanese cooking/food shows. I don't understand a word they are saying but it's fun to watch, most shows have subtitles in English. Iron Chef originally started out in Japan and it was their idea. So they do have interesting ideas. Try your local Asian channels to find some Japanese food shows.
