What are good foods and drinks to get your metabolism working better?

I've tried working out lots of times, but I get bored so easily. I've watched TV while I excercise, and listen to music but I can't stay focused long enough to make a difference in my weight.

I heard green tea gives you a higher/better (not sure how to say this) metabolism. Is this true? And is there any other things? How much is too much or how much should I consume?

    Also make sure you lose breakfast.  The majority of the people that eat breakfast are more liable to succeed in losing weight.
