What are good games to do inside with a 3 year old????

Me and my sister babysit a 3 year old and a 6 month so we have to have games to do inside!Also nothing that will make him like hiper or loud becus if the baby is takeing a nap he needs to be quiet!!!!Iny help will be very helpful!

coloring, counting, mother may I, duck duck goose, watching cartoons

My daughter loves to stand on a stool at the kitchen sink and play with water and measuring cups/spoons.  She also likes to color and look at books.

My son will be three this October and we like to play puzzles. and color. Also he has a "special" toy for when he needs to be quiet. This week its been a car. He can only have it if he's quiet. As soon as he starts screaming he has to have it taken away.

little kids love the simplest things

let him play with spoons, cups, funnels, etc. in the sink (fill it up and plug the drain)

or put some dry rice in a big plastic tub and let him drive his cars and trucks thru, he'll love it

art activities--markers, stamps, crayons

let him glue colored foam shapes on paper or cut out magazine pictures to make a collage

play-doh or slime

board games if his attention span is long enough-- Chutes and ladders, hi-hi cheerio, matching card games, go fish

read some books

simple dot-to-dot or mazes

if hes not afraid of the dark, take him into a dark room with some flashlights and show him how to make shadows on the wall

those mini picture projectors are fun too

once in a while, watch TV or a movie of his choice and make popcorn

duck duck goose, blocks, coloring, puzzles (with the big pieces), arts & crafts.

Try playing with legos or those big floor puzzles. Those can keep my kids occupied for a couple of hours.
