What are good legit ways to make money using the internet?

There are several different options for you.  I suggest starting a business where you can have online and off line.  You don't want to just limit yourself to only online, then your limiting your income potential and creating your business to be harder to build.  Home jobs only pay minimum wage.  So to me that's not a good way to make money at home using the internet.

A friend of mine created a blog on home based business opportunities. She has over half a dozen good businesses to take a look at to get involved in and have an opportunity to make whatever amount of money you want to make. There's a lot of information on her blog on scams and what to look for, information on businesses and the BBB, things on blogs, reports (such as ripoff reports or watchdog reports etc). A lot of really good information to read and learn about.

There are so many.  But there is none that will make you rich instantly.  You still have to work it out, spend time with it, do a lot of research, etc.  You can trade the following onlne, stocks, forex, etc. You can also be an affiliate marketer. As a beginner, find something that is the least risky for you.  Do not risk what you cannot afford to lose.

Most of the Survey Jobs, and inter net jobs are scams, that you can do from home, they pay you so little. Instead of 'JOB', you may do on line writing and get paid, for the same.

I know you will see a lot of spam rip offs, I was skeptical about this one too, but it actually works. ChaCha.com is a program where people around the country text you a question and you reply with the answer after finding it online. Most of the questions are easy opinion based or pranks. It takes a while to get used to, but I am averaging $8 per hour now because you are paid 20 cents per query. I have also linked a few news articles confirming it's legitimacy.

You can refer me using [e-mail] if you wish, you will still receive the full $.2 per message, but the person who you referred also gets 10 percent, it's not a pyramid them, feel free to email me.

Unfortunately, I learned how to make money  online the hard way… trial and error. I tried a bunch of different things like envelope stuffing, paid-to-click, and even mystery shopping, but all of those things either didn’t pay enough or didn’t pay at all. Then I read a newspaper ad about a great website that pays you monthly for filling out offers for advertisers.
