What are good medications to get rid of fleas?

I'm living in a guest house and my landlord owns 3 dogs. she recently gave me an old fan of hers since one broke in the guest house to keep cool (I live in Southern California) and I think it brought in fleas from her house (she has 3 dogs). Ever since I have had this fan I have been getting weird small red bumps over my body that look similar to pimples and are extremely itchy! I really want to get rid of these fleas on me and in my home so what are good medications that I should use?

I think your only solution is to buy flea bombs. You will have to let them off and then plan to leave the house for a few hours. I don't know the rest of the details but I would definitely get rid of the fan lol!

I don't think there are any medications you could use.  You will have to flea bomb your house and then vaccumm a few times to get rid of the fleas.  After you vacumm throw the bag in the trash outside. Don't change the bag inside your house. This should take care of the problem.
