What are good methods for betting on baseball games?

I have hit a little rough patch and I am wondering if there are some techniques or trends that are more telling than others.

   Bankroll management is important and you should always stay within your system. Also do your homework before making a play and i would suggest not paying for plays as this is most of the time a losing venture. Don't bet more to cover losses.  Take a break from gambling.  You're probably thinking how you can recover your funds and scrambling and looking for odd ways and in the end you'll end up making bets that will cost you even more.  Or you could bet against the Pirates on the runline.  They rarely cover 1.5 runs.
