What are good nyc restaurants where they cook in front of you??

I want to take my girlfriend somewhere fun for our anniversary. A restaurant where they cook in front of u and put a show for u with food. Any suggestions?

  1. Mcdonalds and ask for her to have a strip steak..so she can strip for you

I have been to several good ones however, my favorite is Mercer Kitchen at the Mercer Hotel in Soho where the legendary chef Jean-George  is the chef ... it really is fantastic food and it is coupled by a great atmosphere ... the wait staff is great too ... The menu is American-Provencal ... the menu is seasonal and there are also signature dishes...

  3. Benihana at 56th and Fifth.  The chef prepares your food at your table - chops, juggles, - real "dinner theater" - they've been doing this since the 1960's - lots of fun.
