I'm REALLY surprised that no one has mentioned Bucca di Beppo's yet--the atmosphere is great plus it's a great group place. You order either a regular portion or large portion of something (so no individual portions). GREAT Italian food and pasta. Get at least a group of 6 or so people and go there!

The Hard Rock Cafe is good, along with Fat Head's and Nakama Japanese Steak House (one of my favorite's because you watch them do hibachi-style cooking---fire!)

The most common pizza places when ordering out is Milanos and Pizza Fiesta.

I've also heard great things about The Melting Pot, but it's expensive and I've never been there.

Mad Mex    --  every time I'm in Pittsburgh, I make a stop at Mad Mex.   Their chips and salsa aren't the best but their burritos are awesome  (and if you are into like margaritas, they are on the strong side and they are mighty yummy).   My favorite is the Angry Hippie Burrito; my husband's fave is the Wing-O-Rito.
