I'm wonder if it's worth making the trip to London, Ontario. I even would go as far as Guelph, but I have only a day and a half. Too bad I can't get as far out as Toronto.

But within a day's drive from Detroit, Michigan, what is a great thing to see in Ontario?

  1. I live in Southern Ontario and have visitors staying with me from the US and Europe so I can tell you some interesting places to visit.

I actually built a website - http://www.discover-southern-ontario.com which has lots of information about this area.

Check out the pages on "Communities", "Favourite Villages".

There is lovely Point Pelee and Pelee Island, the north shore of Lake Erie at Kingsville and Leamington, and the Uncle Tom's Cabin Museum in Dresden are all fairly close to Windsor.  If you wanted to take a look at the London area there is the city itself http://www.discover-southern-ontario.com... and http://www.discover-southern-ontario.com... and http://www.discover-southern-ontario.com...

I hope you have a great trip!
