What are good plants to grow on an apartment balcony in the fall and winter in west texas

im getting an apartment in west texas and i want to have some plants on my balcony.. i wouldnt be opposed to bringing them inside when it freezes because the town i live in does get pretty cold.. i just want something cool and easy

bamboo is pretty cool i have raised it umm an air plant and a few other things also you can get catus as well umm i know a few other that cant come to mind but ask your local gardening shop or ask your local lowes or home depot (or other stores that carry plants)good luck

you might try native plants like cactus. Among my array of a dozen cactus I have a 13 year old barrel cactus that is now  40" high and 30" in diameter that is really nice.
