What are good rock bands?

i like emo punk and rock... bands like the academy is..., cobra starship, cute is what we aim for, we the kings, and the maine. but im trying to get into more bands... what are some good ones to listen to?

Music nowadays is rarely inspired and artistically worth it,so I would suggest some older punk rock/indie bands,some of which are melodic/more emotionally charged as well.You can simply try them,see if you can get into them
