I'm a junior in high school, and I want to become a vet, but I dont know what schools I should go to. I live in Maryland, and I dont want to go too far from home, like within 5 or 6 hours from DC since thats near where I live. I was thinking of going to Salisbury for my undergrad, and then Vtech for my graduate. But are there any other good and inexpensive schools in that area.

  7. To be a vet; you will need to go to a post graduate vet school (after your bachelors); usually each state only has one vet school (that confers the doctorate of veterinary medicine DVM ).  Do you mean VET TECHNICIAN? (V Tech??) Since it is more competitive to get into vet school than med school; most people hedge their bets & apply to more than one. None are inexpensive. This is the list of US vet schools:

        Auburn University

        Colorado State University
