I manage an sit down restaurant, kind of like an IHOP or a Ruby Tuesdays, and apparently for the past 7 months our employees have been brining in their own music to play... IT HAS TO STOP! I am going to burn of CD's with a variety of music, but what are some popular songs that are appropriate for a place like this?

No rap. Nothing that mentions drugs, s*x or alcohol. Nothing that mentions God. Nothing that is "patriotic" in a negative way towards groups of people.

  7. Hello, keep holding on avril lavigne and time of my life david cook...

  8. I recommend investing in a SONOS System.

My restaurant has it and it is phenomenal.

It can adjust it to play different music in different areas. You can adjust volume for the different areas also.

You can setup numerous play lists. You can play various radio stations (jazz, reggae, classical, etc.)

You can label the playlists different things (Sunday Morning, Chris' Music, TurkeyBaconRockinOut, etc.)

The remote control is kinda like a giant iPod, big spin wheel and different music categories along with radio. It's freakin' sweet.

You're not limited to listening to the same CD day in & day out.

  9. Depends what type of crowd you are trying to attract.. I would recommend an 80/90's mix with some of the new fun songs from the 00's.

I would suggest putting everything from old Grease Songs, to new r&b/country songs..
