I'm going on holiday tomorrow, and wondering some good songs to get before i go away, can you let me know asap please, thanks.

  1. It'd be hard to to better than The Kinks' great song "Sunny Afternoon". But what kind of stuff do you like to listen to?

    I'd be downloading a few Beach Boys tracks, too: you just can't help feeling summery when you've got "California Girls" on.

    And then a few oddball tracks. Kirsty MacColl's "In These Shoes"... Jeff Buckley's cover version of "Lilac Wine"...  something by Santana, for long sultry evenings...

    What about "If it makes you happy" or "I'm gonna soak up the sun" (Sheryl Crow on sweet form)? Oh, and I love Gloria Estefan's Spanish-language tracks -- go listen to "Mi Tierra" (title track of superb album) and try to keep your feet still...

    Well, that's not bad for a starter, is it?
