My alero is a 2000 v6 3.4 l. I was looking at these bosch spark plugs with 4 leads on it >>>http://www.autozone.com/R,355365/vehicleId,2580202/initialAction,partProductDetail/store,3161/partType,00033/shopping/partProductDetail.htm

Any light anybody can shed on this will be greatly appreciated.

  1. Stay far, far, far away from any fancy 4 electrode anything and especially anything made by Bosch.  If you want your car to run right use the same AC Delco plugs the engine was designed to use.

I see more drivability problems from people using some fancy spark plug with a big advertising budget than anything else.  Going back to OEM plugs ALWAYS makes the car run better.

  2. Just use stock AC Delco parts are the best... Those plugs will go 100,000 miles with very little wear.

  3. You can get those, but I swear on my life, you will not notice even the slightest improvement over regular plugs. If you want to go platinum, I guess that's OK. They might stay a little cleaner. If you need plugs, Bosch, NGK, Champion, AC, Motorcraft are ALL good plugs. I like NGK's myself.
