  1. the night befor you shud have pasta. also bananas are good a little befor a race or run ... they give you energy but arent hard on your stomache

  2. Ok, so I run at least 4 miles every morning.

I wake up at 6, and I have a little glass of water, then I stretch and I am off. If you get cramps easily when you run, before you should eat a banana. They help me out when I would get running cramps. Make sure you eat it at least 30 minutes before you run, so it can digest a little bit.

Once I am done running, I stretch again, I eat a bowl of cereal and drink some milk/water.

Just make sure you make healthy choices. Fruit, vegetables, and all the stuff not low in calories/fat.

I know it's summer, but I eat this soup, [lunch usually] and I love it. It only has 110 calories, and it's called Healthy Choice. The flavors that I eat are Country Vegetable and Garden Vegetable. It doesn't make you feel bloated because it is a filling but light meal! :]

Good luck, and if you have anymore questions feel free to e-mail me!

  3. For dinner the night before, have a carb such as pasta or rice. The carbs will turn into energy so the next day when you run, it will benefit you. Throughout the day (same day you run) hydrate yourself. Fatty foods will give you cramps so dont eat those, grains and fruit are the best.

  4. carbs, to give you energy. the day before races or long runs (10+) we all go eat spaghetti at this place by school..kind of a fun thing to do also. but in general..just eat lightly about 2 hours before you run. hydrate well. cut the soda.
