uh, Nicole is so not unique. I know three right off the top of my head.

My first name is Rheana and I've only met one other person with the same name as me.. no, not counting the singer.. gah.

My mother got it from her middle name "Rhea" so it is special and means something.. and is also unique.. a pain in the *** to spell out to everyone all the time, but still. I like it. :) Names that are special to you-are the best.

Also I think Nola is a beautiful name. if I had another daughter I would name her that. My first daughter's name is Lila Roxanne.
